Default Balanced build, spike video

For interest's sake if somebody has any videos of very clean spikes with in a balanced 8v8 team build I'd like to see them.

Define "balanced".

If you consider the old stand rit that [Rawr] ran to be balanced, then there's this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFWvdyCk1Uo

Which is actually a pretty impressive display of clean spikes. Asp should have a downloadable version, it's somewhere on QQ but I'm too lazy to search it out.

If you're talking about DF honor builds, I'm sure a simple youtube lookup will find them. I don't know of any really good ones off the top of my head however.

rawrspike was pretty gay to play against, but it was pretty exciting to watch on OBS mode.

Actually yes this is true. The best part of the video was the editing and not the actual content.

it was more fun to watch than the current meta, which consists of people trying to spike down paragons with other paragons while both teams have 100+ AL through camping sheild sets and stand your ground.

Replace the rangers with paragons and it is exactly the same as the current meta. If obs mode zoomed in on spike you'd think the current meta is pretty awesome.

It's a bit OT, but my favourite spike was the late 2006 Obsidian Flame version run by Death by Coconuts

Not balanced, soon countered, but I still fondly remember watching all sorts of opponents going face down surrounded by the OF animation.....

That's like saying "replace your warriors with monks and it's exactly the same as the current meta".

rawrspike and the dual paragon spike are extremely different builds.
It's nowhere even close to being near the "same meta".

The old bufu spike VD did was way better than that, out of nowhere and just erased his hp.

Filled up with defense and 3,2,1 every 5 seconds.
